How to Guide

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

As with all of our shades, the lighter the base, the more vibrant the result! To get the best results, we recommend bleaching to a Level 8 or higher. Use this shade straight from the bottle on pre-lightened, bleached blonde hair - check out our swatch guide for an indication of results on various levels. Apply to clean, damp or dry hair. No developer required. Apply in sections to fully saturate the hair and leave to process for 15-30 minutes, more if required. Rinse off with cool water, no shampoo! Visit our Education area to watch our Ambassadors in action.

HOW MANY BOTTLES?

If your client has short hair, 1 bottle will do the job. We would recommend 2 bottles for paler colors on short hair just so you can fully saturate each strand. 2 bottles for mid length hair - you need that full saturation of color, work into the hair until the product is creamy and covering the hair. Longer hair will need around 3-4 bottles to make sure every strand gets an even dose of color.

CUSTOMISE YOUR CLIENTS COLOR

All of our shades are completely intermixable so you can create your own custom mash up by mixing them! Don’t forget our potent POWER Pigment Drops which can be used in a variety of ways from increasing color intensity to color masks. Find out more here. Neutral Mix is the perfect addition to any vivid shade, creating soft pastel tones from rich vivid shades. The more drops you add, the lighter the color goes. Check it out! A drop of Natural Black can do the opposite, adding depth and darkening any vivid color!

AFTERCARE

All of the Crazy Color Care range has been developed to retain color as long as possible whilst nourishing and repairing the hair. Encourage your clients to create a conditioning mask for their hair to maintain the vibrancy of their color by adding a generous amount of their Crazy Color Semi-Permanent Hair Color to a conditioner such as our Rainbow Care Conditioner. Check out our Aftercare Guide here for more info. You could also recommend the new Crazy Color Bond Recovery Treatment once a week to nourish and strengthen their colored hair.

Pro Reviews

Metallic Shades

Lily Champ

I mean… it’s hard to pick just one of these colours, so I’m just gunna’ say the whole range! The way these products give a shiny metallic edge is just delicious, and for me gives it that over all ‘expensive’ feel. Also find them absolutely amazing for neutralising out unwanted tones on certain occasions. Overall, fabulous.

Rose Gold

Oli Tracey

My fave of the metallic shades. On its own is a super dusty pink toned rose gold, but it’s a great mixing shade to add a bit of duskiness into more vibrant shades! Hot tips with rose gold, add in a few dots of Cyclamen for a true magenta with a metallic edge, or mix it equal parts with Canary Yellow for the brightest sunshine yellow you’ve ever seen!
